Warming Foods

East West Herb School—Study with Michael Tierra If you haven't already done so, now is the time to start eating only warming foods - root vegetables, winter squash, soups and spices such as garlic, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom and black pepper. Increase your protein intake and eliminate salads, juices, iced foods and cold drinks. This will stoke your winter fires to keep you warm and your metabolism strong! Lesley Tierra
