Energy Blast: Smooth Green

I love sharing good food news. Have a recipe. You can also check out the link below.

Hey Mary,

I've been getting a lot of questions lately from subscribers
to this newsletter like you on how to eat enough vegetables
each day...

...I'm HAPPY TO HEAR IT!  Vegetables contain the highest
concentration of micronutrients out of all foods...and when
you fill your body with the micronutrients it craves, it's a
TON easier to keep hunger and cravings at bay (one of the
core secrets of my Fat Burning Furnace system)...BUT-

I'm sure you realize getting enough of these little wonders
isn't always easy...So-

-with that in mind, I wanted to share one of my classic
newletter recipes that will ensure you don't miss out on the
fat burning power of veggies...even if you're the BUSIEST
PERSON ON EARTH!

My buddy John Allen Mollenhauer calls it 'Sweet Green' and
it's a simple smoothie you can make at home in your blender
with these basic but healthy ingredients:

1. 1 cup of water
2. 1/2 cup of almond milk, OR non fat milk
3. 1 small to medium banana
4. 1 apple OR pear (with skin)
5. 2 cups frozen spinach OR broccoli
6. 1 tablespoon of flaxseed

Blend for 60 seconds and enjoy!

This delicious wonder packs loads of fat burning
micronutrients plus healthy carbs, protein, healthy
fats...and most importantly those green veggies...and all in
just about 320 calories!

Go ahead and try it yourself...it makes a perfect 'any time'
snack...I know you'll like it .

Here's to getting lean, strong, and healthy for life,

How I lost 37 pounds in 4 months...by Mary MacIntyre

How I lost 37 pounds in 4 months: food lists

Snatched from my old blog www.coachingcooing.com

I will be sharing various old blogs here for awhile. For lots of fun just go and vist. There'll be a lot of youtube videos deonstating cooking techniques and more. Including the ret of this blog. Foodlists are different for each person. By June, and I had several changes as I progressed, I had lost a total of 60 pounds. I have palteaued since thenbt have increased by ability to walk. Dan may be willing to createyour foodlit long distance in December or January. He charges $75 for the first list and may be willing to do others for less. You canreach him by calling: 505.424.9527  If you are in the Santa F NM area, he has a few openings for acupuncture appointents which would include nutrtional plans.

Here’s the deal: I work with Dr Daniel Cobb re: many health issues. We started this journey focusing on a very tired and hurt knee.

Although the whole page may not have copied, there are more foods and another column or so per page, the following example will give you an idea of how this method works. Dr Daniel Cobb 505.424.9527.
He can do phone consultations. Toward the end, the columns are not clearly formated. Each X would be in one of the above categories. If you would like more information either call Dan for an appointment, or contact me on www.twitter.com/Makkinart or leave a comment here. Thanks!

Ex= excellent GD= Good OK=OK NT=neutral AV= Avoid.
Dr Dan does long distance muscle testing on 5 pages of different foods. One can then choose the foods on the list for meals. I eat hearty portions of my choices. I actually usually avoid OK, Neutral, and Avoid. This is not totally necessary, yet seems to have helped me continually lose weight. I also feel about ten years younger. I walk much better too. My therapy also includes acupuncture, EFT, nutritional supplements, and lymph drainage. We occassionally add other procedures as needed.

My firsts list totally changed my fairly healthy diet. I focused on what I could eat. I focused on improving my health. Sometimes I just couldn’t satisfy myself and ate very little. Soon however, I became an enthusiast: especially as pounds melted away.

Tips for New Healthy Soups

Here's a callenge, from an old blog I wrote elsewhere. Enjoy.

Here’s your assignment: tranform these recipes to make a salad or soup. Hint: by addidng agar you are helping your joints and thickening a recipe. You may simply add it to a recipe, or follow directions on the pack to make a vegan “geleatin” Chia seeds soaked can also add a nutty thickener for recipes.

2-3 fresh limes diced
4-6 cucumber sliced. Soak in a light marinade
1/2-1 cup of water
4 tablesppons of horse radish
Optional use red chile powder or your fav hot sauce
2 teaspoons of dill

Mix ingrdients in a large bowl. Add optional fruits diced. Fresh fruit better. OPtion: Blend a few fruits for a base. Chill.
Presto a cold soup.
Overnight: you may have a mold. If you cook the agar and pour it into the soup and chill for several hours then you WILL have a mold.

Now what would happen if you blend greens and use them instead of the fruits? Blend greens or tomatoes to the above and then add dried cranberries or cherries or both to soup. garnish with cream or yougurt. See now you 6 recipes to choose from.

Also you can serve in small dessert bowls for fun. Recipes by Mary MacIntyre. Please feel free to share and please give credit here.
